That van will be 10 minutes late (ten minutes more starting the 1.10 PM, that means 20 minutes late.!!!!) At 1.10 PM Prime Shuttle calls my hotel to communicate In the days before my email box received a lot of messages that reminded me about our appointment and they asked me every time to confirm the pick up time (and I confirmed each time).Īt 1.00 PM there was no van at the hotel. Three days after the pick up time was booked for 1.00 PM (my flight was at 5 PM, but I decided to take a margin due to the bad experience on the arrival). (exactly one hour later that the booked pick up time) The van for Hollywood finally arrived at 9:55 PM. Half an hour later (I did not have at the time a telephone line for call in the US) I kindly asked those gentlemen if they could call the Prime Shuttle switchboard to tell them I was waiting for the van. 5 there was no Prime Shuttle operator at all.Īt the Prime Shuttle stop sign I found other people waiting for their van for more than 45 minutes. Hell I need to do a reservation again?)but at Terminal B No. Of Prime Shuttle with red uniform to make a reservation (but if I pay and we agreed a pick up time why on the My flight arrives to LAX at 8.20 PM so I booked the pick up time at 8.55 PM.Īrriving at LAXairport I had the first negative surprise: the website explained I had to look for the operator I came from Europe to LA International Airport and a few days later I would be back in Europe from the same airport. I chose Prime Shuttle because the website looked professional, with lots of information on pick up and drop off times. They stated that only applies to pick ups from a residence or hotel, not ports.which would make that false advertising.Ĭall this company if you want to be sure to miss your flight (October 2017) I contacted Prime Time about their disorganized and unprofessional business practice and also addressed the issue of a refund. I also noticed that painted on the side of their vans is "We're on time or you don't pay". The rep then wanted us to get off and wait for another one, but we refused. We finally got onto one of the shuttles at 12:10. I asked why people aren't taken according to their booked time and the rep replied "that's not how we do it." What then, is the point in having a booked time? To make things even worse, the first shuttle didn't even appear until 11:50. The rep said you get a shuttle on a "first come, first serve" basis. I then discovered that your pick-up time is irrelevant. There were many people already waiting and soon were joined by many more. We arrived at our pick-up location at 10:40 and checked in with the rep. We had a shuttle booked for 11:00 am to take us from the ship's pier to LAX. Our second occasion, however, was anything but pleasant. We were also very pleased with our driver. Despite receiving notification that our noon pick-up would be delayed to 12:15, our ride showed up at 11:45, which was great. On a recent trip to L.A., I had two occasions to use Prime Time shuttle.
